Peru is located in South America with a population of approximately 32.2 million inhabitants. Its capital is Lima, located on the central coast, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. The country is member of the Pacific Alliance, the Andean Community (CAN), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Organization of American States (OAS), the United Nations (UN) and the Union of South American Nations (USAN).
Peru enjoys a great macroeconomic strength with a consolidated economic model based on the private industry and a large trade oppeness. It has large mineral reserves and natural resources that offer great growth possibilities in the future.
