Bolivia is located in South America, has a population of approximately 11,5 million inhabitants. The capital is Sucre, while the seat of government and financial center is located in La Paz. Bolivia is the fifth largest country in South America, after Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Colombia. On the other side, Bolivia is a charter member of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Organization of American States (OAS), the Organization of the United Nations (UN) and the Union of South American Nations (USAN).
Bolivia has the second largest natural gas reserves in South America and the 50-70% lithium world reserves. That is why extraction and exportation is the base of its economy. Also, the income from tourism has become increasingly important. In 2019, Bolivia has had one of the biggest economical growth rate in Latin America.
